Description: Centura Hills provides an excellent countryside golf experience. Established in 1996 the course has matured and continues to get better through constant improvements. For example, additional 100 trees were added in 2003, reconstructed bunkers and additional bunkers in 2004 & 2005. The 5th hole is the signature hole and the course’s most challenging due to its length, sloping terrain, native rough, out of bounds and the creek that is in front of the green. Although the course begins with a few friendly holes designed to inspire confidence, one had better be ready for "Amen Bend" (holes 5-8). This is a section of the course where a church is nearby, the creek bends through the course, trouble lurks everywhere and bogies abound.
The course features a Putting Green, Driving Range, Rental Clubs, Rental Carts, Pull Carts, Locker Room, Showers, Snack Bar, and Meeting Room. After your round of golf, enjoy a cool beverage in the air-conditioned Clubhouse or sitting on the deck outside overlooking #9 green. There are preliminary plans to begin construction on additional 9 holes including a housing development later this spring. The course is located 13 miles west of Grand Island on Highway 2, then ¼ miles north on Highway 11, turn right on Centura Hills Drive.
