Some Existing Homes:

Vogler Addition is on the north edge of Weeping Water, Nebraska and has breathtaking views of the valley.  Oversized lots and acreages are available in this rural community.  You may select your own builder.  Consider building an outbuilding on the acreages!

A leisurely drive from either Lincoln or Omaha will bring you to the only town in the United States which bears the name Weeping Water. The unique, heavily wooded historical town with some 1,300 residents is situated on the creek from which it borrowed its name.  Heritage House Museum includes a building which houses many displays of Indian artifacts and early Weeping Water memorabilia.

Weeping Water has K-12 Schools, churches, shops, and more  The City Park encompasses two lakes and the old falls, scene of the first mill-race. A natural rocky area across the road remains much as it was when the first settlers arrived.

The dense woods surrounding Weeping Water paint a beautiful picture, especially in spring and fall. Hidden among the rolling hills are many wild flowers and rare plants. Scenic Drive has as much color in the fall as many Ozarks highways.  The creek bed, quarries, and other places where limestone is exposed are sources of interesting fossils. Nearby a suspension bridge spans the creek.

Other modern points of interest are Brown's Airport and several limestone quarries, which produce crushed rock and allied products and provide industrial activity for this otherwise rural community.
